WHEN DOES IVA APPLY?
01 / ORIGIN
JAPANESE-BUILT CARS
Origin, age and specification all shape the route. Some vehicles may qualify for preferential duty, but that does not automatically remove the need for IVA.
02 / AGE
30 YEARS OR MORE
Historic vehicles can follow a different testing and tax route. We check the dates and paperwork before you commit to a car.
03 / SPECIFICATION
LIGHTS, PLATES, TESTING
Right-hand-drive details, lighting, emissions and paperwork can all matter. We identify the likely work and quote it honestly.

Once the car arrives, we coordinate the required preparation, testing and evidence so the application can move without avoidable delays.
DVLA REGISTRATION
With the test route complete, we submit the registration application and arrange UK plates as part of the Road Ready service.
A DOCUMENTED HANDOVER
You receive the relevant test, customs and registration paperwork alongside the car, with the story of the import kept intact.
